"Although it would be ideal to conduct a larger trial using a randomized therapeutic approach, the current emphasis on drug-based trials is a formidable obstacle."

In other words, they can't get funding for a simple diet-based adjunct to mainstream treatment, because no patentable technology is going to drop out of the research. Sad.

It is fortunate that Dr Dom has funding, and that we can benefit from his research.
