My friend from the Health Support group mentioned this group, hello:)!
I am trying to get into Keto as I have been low carb for 6 months but am plato-ing on it now. I have been looking for some simple ingredients meal plans but all the links are getting you to 'subscribe' / pay memberships and some have weird ingredients etc. Does anyone have a simple meal plan that works they could share with me?
Thank you in advance and have a fab day

Meal timing are very important as well as quantity.
If you can fix breakfast time, lunch time and evening meal time an no food after evening meal until breakfast time, earlier the evening meal and later the breakfast do give fasting time on a daily basis.
Hi MonLew ! If you click on this link it will take you to a post on this forum from about 6 months ago, with lots of useful information and links for Keto and LCHF. Hope you find it useful! healthunlocked.com/lchf-die...
I think we spoke before in the weight loss forum...... something about burgers I think .... 🤭☺️
I don't know of any websites that do meal plans (as in like a 7 day plan or whatever), I'm sure that, as moreless says, there are some out there.
Keto recipes are completely abundant online though. There has seldom been something I really wanted to cook/eat that I couldn't think of a way (or google a way) to adapt it to make it Keto . I have never typed in "Keto [add any dish name here]" and not come up with several recipes or discussions. That's a good challenge though, to find a dish that nobody has ever thought to make a keto version of......
DietDoctor is good for general more general ideas..... I browse the free recipes there for inspiration sometimes.
What I mostly eat is vegetables in the form of stir-frys, soup, salads etc. as a base for a meal and then I add fat and protein to each meal (eggs, oil, butter, meat, fish, cheese, yogurt etc.) Just simple ingredients cooked in variety of ways and thrown together in a bowl with herbs, spices and other seasoning. I make my own dressings and sauces. No recipes required. Just keep the carbs really low and the fat at a reasonable level and eat what you feel like. 😊
This forum has been a bit quite lately so please post and let us know how it's going. I'm always interested in what other people are cooking.
Is Keto/Low carb a common way of eating in France? 🇫🇷
Thank you for taking the time to respond! I really appreciate your thoughts and sharing the way you cook. Slowly I am trying to get to grips with keto style and compared to LCHF there is not that much difference other than removing some of my favourites such as pulses and reducing squashes again a favourite of mine. I think with LCHF i was cooking lovely food but still overdoing on carbs.... so am hoping with a few tweaks as you say, it shouldn't be hard!
I am doing mushroom stroganoff with a few zoodles tonight so can't complain really lol.
Eating in France is very different, natural but full sauces and carbs and very meaty... Especially red meats.... and we are just doing our own thing lol only eating a little bit of poultry and some fish...
Mushroom stroganoff with a few zoodles sounds amazing! I had forgotten about mushroom stroganoff and now I remember it I will be making some in the near future..... Thank-you.🧄🧅🍄🍄🥛
