Hello.
I took prednisone, now 3 months ago.
I took 10 mg of prednisone for 2 weeks, then stopped, as i got anxiety and it worsened.
After starting and stopping prednisone, i noticed a change in my vision.
I’ve had it befor and it usually resolves for up to 6 weeks (usually).
I started to do my research and found that (Central serous retinopathy), it best described my vision problems and is self resolving.
It has now lasted for up to 3 months which is the longest time, i have been walking with blurred vision. It is however resolving again. I also want to note, that, i have panic attacks, which i guess could be the reason, why my blurry vision has lasted for longer than the normal 6 weeks, that my blurry visions dissapear.
I met with a doctor today, to discuss other problems, but after my talks with the doctor i proceeded to ask about the eye problems and whether or not Central serous retinopathy, could be the culprit.
He told me, it is because of me having a tender tolerance to prednisone, that i developed the problems and should resolve after ‘3–4’ days.
I told him i had been having the blurry vision for up to 3 months and was resolving and he got a little surprised.
He is not officially my ‘doctor’, because he has an expertise with chronic diseases like Morbus Crohns, which is what i am suffering from….
We ended the chat there ofc and i went home.
I cannot call the doctor today but i am planning to do that.
I wanted to examine my problems a bit further, to read up on the problems with my vision. I got paranoid, as to understand that, i could develope ‘glaucoma, Cataract. I have not had ‘bulging’ eyes i think but i have felt like walking around in a (cloud).
I am slightly paranoid about what i have read although, i still think my blurry vision will fade, like it usually did and not be worried about it but i wanted to ask
- have other people had similar problems? like i did.?
