Travel to India

Anyone out there with ITP who has travelled to India? What was your experience like with the injections and Malarial tablets? What advice did your haematologist give you before you travelled? If anyone knows of any research/study about ITP and travel injections please share it. Thanks.

I don't have a spleen so travel to any country with a high malarial risk is a no go. DIfferent teams will not reccommend various vaccines if your counts are at certain levels. I would be having a good long chat with your heamo before making any plans

Thanks. I will be seeing my haematologist this week and also my GP.
