My insurance is with Marks and Spencer’s.

I spoke to my consultant about travel insurance and he kindly printed a list of preferred providers that i believe the ITP Society recommend. Maybe worth checking that route if you are facing problems!

Never had a problem with getting insurance with ITP. I took some out last month and had to pay an extra £6 which is not cost prohibitive. Have always been open about my condition and just pay the extra.

My travel insurance comes with my bank account. I informed the insurer that I have ITP but didn’t have to pay any extra. Maybe you should change your bank account ....?

I also get my travel insurance through my bank account. When I phoned up to renew and advise about a new precondition, they had heard of ITP and I did not have to pay an additional premium.
