husband icu weaning of serdation

My husband got took to hospital sunday its now wed he drank a hell of a lot in short space of time and think had cocaine is in ice 40% oxygen they lowerd his serdation today and he started fitting he has had a ct scan and will get results in morning is it normal to fit

Is he on a ventilator or just a mask ? I honestly don't know the answer, but take comfort in the fact he is in the best place with a team of experts looking after him .

Tube down throat they said when they tweaked his sedation a tiny bit he started to fit so put him back under sterdation get results of ct scan tomorrow x

40% oxygen isn't that high for ICU , everything crossed for good results for tomorrow for you and your husband .

They have changed his meds he as he was on meds for epilepsy and that dident work as was having fits still they have been put him on convulsions meds and are lowering his sedation 1ml everi hr he has had a nother fit am sure she said not as many so they leaving his serdation were it is its everytime there lowering it

Head scan came back clear they keep lowering serdation tinys bits its just his fitting they need to control so fingers crossed they can stop that as thats the only thing at min they might do an mri scan full body just to rule everything out
