Pneumonia shot.

How many of you guys that had pneumonia received a pneumonia shot while hospitalizated.I had flu , double pneumonia,sepsis. They gave me pneumonia shot while in hospital and said it last 4 years. They said I can still get it but not as bad. Any info on this thx....

I got one after hospital and was told it would last for 5yrs. Alas it is doubtful that it would be effective against Covid 19, since this leads to a viral form of pneumonia- the vaccination works for bacterial pneumonia ( that is how I understand it anyway).

I was in FGH (Furness General Hospital) / ICU / PPU Jan/Feb/Mar 2019 with Flu and Double Pneumonia but haven't got a clue as to what drugs I was given.

My sister was at the hospital a lot whole I was in a coma. She said half the time she had no clue what they were giving me. The pneumonia shot I requested it when I was back to normal of the drugs I mean in hospital.
