I first posted on here 4 months ago in total despair as my brother was put into an induced coma and the drs didn't hold put very much hope I have got great support and advice that kept me going and strong . My brother has made a miraculous recovery he is back living on his own looking great and feeling great he still has difficulty with walking but with physio he is doing so well. He has had no mental after effects thank God . So for everyone out there don't lose hope the body has wonderful ways to recover thanks for all the support x

Dear Deidre I am really happy for you and your brother. my brother was in a similar situation to yours and he too is making a great recovery. This community is such a help to people in despair. I am thankful for our brilliant NHS.

So glad your brother is doing great too. People give off about the NHS but they saved my brothers life and the aftercare they provide is second to none I am eternally grateful.

Hi Copse77, about 4 months ago you replied to a comment I left about my dad being intubated with the story of your brother. I logged in today for the first time in ages and I saw your comment and wanted to know how your brother was doing. I am SO happy to read that he is making a great recovery!

Really well, thanks he has been out of hospital for almost five months now, has regained a lot of his strength, has been on a holiday, and is having a meeting today about potentially returning to work soon! He has been so strong, it's amazing.
