I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their compassionate and understanding replies to my post 3 months ago. I am recovered physically and after a chat to the aneasthetist involved in my care I am recovering mentally too. I still have the occasional flashback and feeling of panic but on the whole things are a lot better.
Thanks again everyone. Hope you and those you love are doing ok.

Hello Everyone, an update on my AMAZINGLY STRONG and BEAUTIFUL wife Ally. She is home now!!!! 
Hospital air mattress vs the dreaded Foam mattress, WHAT WOULD YOU PREFER?
Visits daily whilst sister in ICU which everyone agreed helped her recovery now no visits allowed on ward side room. What can we do?
