I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their compassionate and understanding replies to my post 3 months ago. I am recovered physically and after a chat to the aneasthetist involved in my care I am recovering mentally too. I still have the occasional flashback and feeling of panic but on the whole things are a lot better.

Thanks again everyone. Hope you and those you love are doing ok.
