Losartan
Have been on Losartan 100mg for a long time and most mornings I seem to be often clearing my throat. I looked up on Google was this a symptom of the drug and read to my horror that Losartan had been recalled because of cancer scares! I haven't been told by the pharmacist of any such problem. I hope it

feeling down
This morning, my blood pressure spiked to over 180/90 again, and so I went back to the hospital. This time, I had to go to the GP assessment unit. My blood pressure came down to 152/85, so they let me go home, with a prescription for Ramipril 2.5gm to take, if my blood pressure stays at 180 or above

Adrenal glands and reflexology
I’ve just had an amazing experience at a reflexology appointment (on a holiday with my Mum). At the end of the session the therapist asked to look something up and then said ‘you’ve got a blockage in your adrenal glands’. I hadn’t mentioned anything about steroids or adrenals before and she said it

Duloxetine effect on RLS?
Hi, Just a quick one. I’m having a juggle around of meds with a great new consultant I’m under the management of from The Priory, Roehampton (UK). I briefly had Duloxetine added to my current meds and I think we over did it with the mixture of other meds I’m on causing serotonin syndrom so we stopped

brain bleed
I’m on Apixaban and worry a lot about brain bleeds. I get headaches due to neck injury (whiplash 3 times) and I think is this a bleed, such a worrier. Do others worry like me?

Underlying hip problems in conjunction with RLS
Dear all, I wondered whether underlying hip problems are common in those suffering from RLS symptoms? I have hip impingement on both sides (worse on the right-hand side) and I do wonder if this might be somehow related, since the discomfort is nearly always on that side. I also have mild spinal stenosis

Blood pressure medication
Sorry to bother people I am suffering from bad brain fog (or maybe just stupidity ) but I need to go back on medication for high blood pressure and all I can recall is that calcium channel blockers are not suitable but cannot remember which tablets are OK. Any suggestions would be gratefully received

Does anyone split their dose of Losartan ?
Hi All Looking for advice please I take 10 Lercandipine, in the morning , 20 Propranolol twice a day & 25 Losartan at bedtime without any side effects. As my BP has now risen my GP wants me to either Increase dosages or find a 4th medication. I’ve tried increasing the Losartan to 50 or even 37.5with

Disopyramide Replacement?
Hi all, I have been on Disopyramide (Rhythmodan Retard 250mg) for the past 5/6 years, but now finding it almost impossible to obtain from the pharmacists in the Wiltshire area, so I am looking for an alternative. Back in January, my GP switched me to Bisprolol, but that didn't work as its rate rather

vimpat / lacosamide stopped fully working
the Vimpat stopped working to completely resolve my RLS. Recent MRIs showed multiple Tarlov cysts on my spine, which is possibly causing the left leg pain and movement. It is positional and separate from the RLS in both legs in my arms and body. I see a new neurosurgeon next week. I’ve had multiple

Good News!!!
My dr. approved the buprenorphine for me. I am thinking positive that it will work. She is giving me the patch. I am excited. I have to discontinue the horizant though which surprised me and of course discontinue the oxycodone. Hopefully now you won't have to listen to me complaining and I will

Interesting update for those in the UK whose GP practice has Buprenorphine red listed
Finally, after months of hitting my head against a brick wall with my GP practice, where Buprenorphine is firmly red-listed (and the partners flatly refuse to change their stance, even after being presented with all the research we know about on this site), I have been able to obtain an NHS prescription
