Maybe many of you knew about this, but for those like me that didn´t....only a curiosity:

Courtney Cox, the well known actress (Friends, Cougar Town,...) also suffers from antiphospholipid syndrome. She also knows what a miscarriage is (several).

I didn't know.

But after some had speculated that Andrew Marrs young stroke, I was disappointed to hear he thinks it is only exercise which caused it.

Not a good advert for exercise.

Not all people have the courage to be a "poster child" for a cause. Many people, particularly celebrities, are very shy in their "real" lives. They have no problem separating their real from their celebrity personalities, but WE do. So they are literally unable to give in that way. She is a philanthropist in her own ways. I prefer to keep my philanthropic gifts anonymous. The press here is not as civil with our celebrities as the UK can be (with the exception of the Queen & Company where apparently there are no rules).

Also, she has a network to answer to. They don't like sick people that cannot show up on time, knowing their lines and ready to be professional because time is money and if you can't live that simple rule you shouldn't and won't be working as a celebrity.Time is money. No excuses.

I would expect she has a very particular set of problems. Can she remember her lines with the foggy brain we sometimes get? Can she show up on the set every day and move like it doesn't hurt? Gee. I think she, like everyone else, has some very adverse affects that she must conquer every day, just like each of us. Just because she is a celebrity does not mean her entire life is public. I send her my prayers and my wishes for strength and courage in the journey she travels as a co-Hughes patient. I wish she could receive the benefit of this Forum.

Smiles,

CanaryDiamond

Wow, never knew she was a hughes superstar like us all!!

She is probably on the forums but as a different name, the good thing about a forum is you can stay anonomous, which is good for a starlet. Hopefully someone has helped her and answered her concerns so she can go on doing her job. Good for her to carry on and do such a good job too. Love u Courtney!!

We are all stars in our own right, think of all the days you were present and correct with not a hair out of place and able to move beyond the pain with a smile on your face, we can all do it when we want to....what doesnt kill you makes you stronger!
