Seeing Prof K at Tommy's next Friday. I've seen him privately before but this will be my first NHS appt with him. About how long can I expect the appointment to last? (And does the first appointment usually run for longer?) I've got a list of questions as long as yer arm - lots going on at present.
Also ... someone on here (I think) mentioned the yummy hot chocs you can get somewhere near Tommy's. Can anyone tell me where/what that is????
Thanks.

Hi, yes the first appointment lasts much longer, as all previous history is discussed, good to have a list on your other medical problems,/conditions in date order
Medication list including one of how your Inr has been, if you have been on Warfarin
Test results if you have them eg: I think it is your right to have copies of letters sent to your Gp.
There is a coffee shop just inside and their is also a large restaurant which is much cheaper, it's not just for medical staff, I can't remember the name but it is well signed and has a very good breakfast
Good luck with your appointment. I'm there myself in another few weeks, and having a brain scan too, so will be stuck indoors all day. I'm now wondering if there's anyone can tell us where you get the yummy hot chocolate as well. I will have my child with us, so would be a good diversion for my hubby to take him there whilst I'm stuck in the tunnel having my portrait done!
HI... yes a big M&S style cafe.. and in the South Wing, quite near by.. is the Shepherd Hall Restuarant.. I remember taking all mine there years back, user friendly etc Mary F x
I don't see anywhere where I can be notified when there is a response to this thread. Also, I tried to private email you, but they don't seem to be part of your profile. Any help?
