Can feeling nausea constant and bloated be signs of Hughes?
Hi, many of us have lots of varying symptoms on here - APS has a lot of symptoms that are common, and some are personal to each person, sometimes if you suffer with one auto immune disorder it can then lead to others and IBS is a common one - it could be this, a lot of people find it a help to list all the symptoms and at the consultantation go through each one so the dr can get a good picture of how it is affecting you, or if its maybe is something else, this site is very reassuring if your worrying about a symptom as theres always someone who has the same one and it helps to know! Its important to get anything more sinister ruled out though and not jut link it to APS. If you get a good doctor who knows about APS they should know x
I agree with Salty your symptoms are non specific. I have suffered from these at times but for different reasons, side effect of tablets, diet issues with gluten and lactose, irritable bowel syndrome (as Emma suggested as one possibility). Having ruled out anything by blood work etc, working with my specialist I kept a diary which allowed me to see if there was a pattern and then make changes.
Thank you all very much for your help.
Hi there, taking into account all the advice above and carrying on from all that, sometimes medication can make people like this, or some people can be sensitive to some foods, and this can change over time. I certainly lost that when going gluten free, it also stopped me sneezing, often common with hidden thyroid issues and autoimmune. I also take a very good probiotic daily... and and mild bloating has gone now.. however it is quite an undertaking to do this... the gluten free. My sneezing allergy to nothing specific which would literally lay me up for three days or more a week, has now gone and is confined to colds only. Some people also get candida after antibiotics which can also seem to cause bloating and nausea.. my GP gave me a treatment or two to knock that on the head. Hope you feel better soon. Mary F x
