Finally updated my blog, Life With APS.....

Yeah sorry I haven't been on here too much, hoping to change that soon. Just life has been harder than ever lately and I seem to pull away from people and things. Its been hard if not impossible to share what I have been enduring the last year but I am slowly getting there, and not giving up the fight yet.

A few have asked about my blog and I have finally posted an update with more to come very soon. I didn't realize anyone would miss me and feel blessed that I actually have readers!

Hope everyone is well!

Hi hon,

glad to have you back. :-)

You've been missed,

Hope things settled down and you have a better year this year!

Love n hugs Sheena xxxxx :-) :-) :-)

I was hoping to have a wireless connection turned on today here at my daughters home but its not going to happen for a couple more days minimum.

Apparently nobody in this building of 3 townhouses has ever had telephone service as they are generally second/vacation homes!! The phone company had to ping 911 to even "find" the address then two engineers came out today to hook it up. They thought it would be easy as flipping a switch in their little box outside the building... NOPE... LOL they had to run new line to the pole across the street. On a below zero day at that! Took them a couple hours as they first had to run it through the underground utility conduit as event that hadn't been done. All is good and we are good to go now. BUT....

Apparently the router/modem and self install kit was fed exed to the nearest address they had on file with active service which was in one of the units across the street. The old guy sent it back as it wasn't his.... Not sure why it wasn't sent to this address but apparently another one is on way and should arrive Saturday. Barring any probs, I should have internet this weekend!

So please keep your fingers crossed!!!

Delighted that you are blogging again. Sad to hear you are having such a difficult time. It sounds as though you have had a lot of stress and change in your life. In my experience stress usually makes symptoms much worse for me. As you settle in to your new life you may find that your symptoms settle down again and your qualiity of life improves. I recognise the state of mind you describe and I think that when you are not well it can really take your mood and your resourcefulness down too. I hardly recognised myself sometimes when I felt so low. I think we often do need to rethink how we value ourselves when we can no longer function as we did before. For now though it is important to rest and take things gently, give yourself time to adjust to a new life and recover from all the activity and adjustments you have had to make. Even without illness to contend with major life changes can take a toll. It was lovely to read about your gifts from Hazel. Friendship has such power to sustain us in hard times. I do hope things improve quickly for you. Ann
