Hi Everyone. I was due to go to the London Bridge Clinic this month but unfortunately I am too ill to make the journey :( So my question is has anyone ever had a consultation with Dr Richard Cervera in Barcelona? If so can you recommend him? Send me a PM if you prefer. Thanks in advance from here InSpain xxx

His name appears on here: apsaction.org/leadershipmem... and also his name appears attached to many papers and books including those written by Prof Khamashta, so this looks very promising indeed. Mary F x

Yes Mary, thanks. This is where I got his name from - you might remember sending me the link before Christmas? I have looked at his CV and it seems to be pretty comprehensive. Rather interestingly he also worked at Tommies for a time too. So fingers crossed xxx

Thanks for your good wishes Mary F. I am currently in so much pain and been told that I have 'Hemarthrosis' which basically means I am now bleeding into my joints. My C-reactive protein (CRP) levels have gone off the scale so I obviously have some sort of serious inflamation as a result. So no, I'm not feeling on top on the world at the moment! In fact I could go as far as to say I feel pretty grotty. xxx

Best of luck. ( and we all know what a roll of the dice a trip to a new doc can be. Bless this forum's creators and maintainers so we can all up our odds a bit with new consults.)

Thanks GinaD. Too true without the help and support of all on this site I shudder to think where we would be. xxx
