Hi Skylark

I had it as a child and was given injections of penicillin by my GP.

Best wishes.

no infection - it is what they call a dry Pleurisy - just inflammation - trying to figure out what is the cause

Hi, I have had it several times in the past year, always with infection, which as they told me creates inflammation and irritation of the lining of lung in chest area - I was treated with antibiotics and prednisilone 40mg for 7 days - hope this helps and you feel better soon

:-) Lesley
