As of yesterday I seem to have gotten a bad cold but I feel horrible. The reason I am concerned is that I rarely get a cold. Last cold may have been easily over 2 1/2 years ago. My body aches so bad and I have been in bed all day.
Should I be concerned? I don't yet have a doctor treating my APS except on low dose aspirin. I just had an MRI done last week to rule out MS or ? But had already tested positive for APS in March. I don't see a hematologist until Nov 1st who treats APS.
With APS is it ok to take OTC cold Medicine? I am a little worried that I may need medical attention now if its something else with flu like symptoms.
Anyone with similar experience that can offer so e advice?
Thank you.

If you think you have a cold...then you probably have, only you know what it feels like to be you with a cold. All I can suggest is that you treat yourself the same as you would ordinarily with a cold. Keep warm, plenty of fluids, paracetamol, (or whichever pain relief/temperature controllers you take) and please be careful not to mix and/or overdo them though. However, if it keeps on for more than a few days, do the wise thing, don't take chances, see your G.P.
Hi, I know when I get a cold I get it a lot worse now a days......I presume its due to our immune systems & Hughes.
At the moment it sounds like because you are not on warfarin as of yet you should be able to take most cold remidies.....but please double check this with your gp as you may not be able to double up on your asprin with some?
If it persists see your gp to have temperature etc maybe to be checked & get their proffesional advice.
