Hello I had my 12 week scan all is well with baby, the consultant was a bit hesitant to put me on heprin but I went in antenatal clinic really clued up and they decided to give me heprin in the end. And I have got to go to scans every two weeks so hopefully I will end up with a healthy baby in my arms

Congratulations Sabrina, that is great news. I too was on heparin while pregnant in 1995. It worked great, my daughter was induced 6 weeks early and was 9lbs 12.5 oz. They said had I carried her to term she would have been over 12 lbs.

If you gain alot of weight, they may need to install a pic line and you would carry a back pack with a cad pump and a bag of heparin in it. I had the pic line in beginning at week 23 and they did not remove it until three weeks after I had my daughter.

Please keep us updated on your pregnancy.
