Hi Moonbug

I have had very low blood pressure all my life, I dont know if it's common with with aps patients, but is horrible cos it causes awful dizzy spells.

I hope others will be along with more information.

Take care gentle hugs love Sheena xxxxxxx :-) :-) :-)

Hi Moonbug,

I have had low blood pressure since I was a kid. They found no explanation for my seizures when I was young. A week in the hospital and the only thing they found wrong was low blood pressure lol. I used to black out a lot now I just get dizzy spells & headaches. Seems as though low or high BP is common with APS. I am overweight my BP should be high. Drs are so obsessed with high BP they seem to think my BP is great lol I don't.

Unfortunately I don't know why it's common but seems to be. Maybe BP survey would be a good poll.

Morning,

i suffer from very low blood pressure too, which makes you feel awful. The docs just don't seem bothered by it, as Sassyone says they are more interested in high BP not us fainters!!

My docs answer - drink more water - it doesn't help.

hi all....i suffer from very low bp......been in hospital as it fell to 52/40...my gp ignored it and said it was healthy...but the cardiologist disagrees...it can cause serious health problems....i have been put on flucortisone which raise your bp...dont ignore it its very dangerous......i have been diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension so please look it up and if you feel it is similiar to how you feel please go back to your g p as your heart is under undue stress...i dint want to frighten anybody but this condition can make your life difficult and it can be treated....i hope this helps x

Mine was low like that. My GP put me on fludrocortisone. Now I have steady 110/65. Helps a little with the cold, but not so much on the fatique.
