I am not sure about it being common with APS but I have recently been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. I hope others reply with information to let us both know if it is common in APS.

I know from years of gleaning information from this site that over or under active thyroids are related to a number of chronic diseases. Including ours, APS. But do make sure you are getting detailed thyroid tests as the usual auick test is not always accurate.

Yes, I was diagnosed last month with overactive thyroid, is it related to my APS, I’m not sure but will investigate that with my consultant.

Best wishes to you.

Merry Christmas Nesting. Thyroid is definitely related to APS. I have been through hyperthyroidism myself some 4 years ago and after radio Iodine through TED. It´s not an easy disease because it affects many body functions. Wishing you all the best.
