How high do titers go for APS lab work?

Hello

I am curious about what is high for anticardolipins IGG, IGM and IGA. B-2-glycoprotiens IGG, IGM and IGA and anti-phosphatidlyserine IGG, IGM and IGA ?

Have any of you received results with >100 or >200 for any of the above?

I am simply curious about all of this and how various labs report results. I have read that IGM is more important but then also saw a program that mentioned IGA might also be included in the new criteria. So this is why I ask about all 3.

Thank you so much in advance for any replies. I hope everyone has a good and healthy weekend!

there are charts on this, but have differing publication dates, and different focuses.

Again there is another treating and evaluation aid, called the GAPSS ( I’m going to double check I’ve got that anacronym correct) - it’s based on a point system assigned to each patients presentation of particular criteria. This helps the physician add up the score to assign risk of stroke, DVT, etc, which in turn helps the doctor evaluate the correct INR, other specialists that need to be involved , etc. Some of these articles might contain the Antibody thresholds. It will be a matter of hunting and pecking through articles - and using specific key words like “thresholds” or values ,

The most recent up to date one ( as you mention it’s about to be revised/ updated again in the upcoming g year) was in 2019.

It was published by EULAR ( European League Against Rheumatism) and titled something along the lines of Recommendation / criteria for treating / Diagnising Antiphospholipid Syndrome.

It’s important to look for the publication in it’s entirety- not just another journal’s synopsis of it. ( I think it’s 8 pages.)

You might help me Google this today as I’m in migraine… meds have not kicked in yet but I wanted to give you a place to start…

*found it!*- I’ll let you read through this to see it there is a char of title values.

wow. I believe the new criteria that will come out in 2023 will include IGA and IGM as being more significant than previously thought. This is guess after reading research papers. So only based on my limited knowledge.
