Warfarin
That’s what I was told. I had to came off blood thinners to get my 2nd blood check for it. Blood thinners can throw up false positives!
Depends on the hospital and lab. UCLH in London, who are one of the main APS research centres in the U.K. can and do test for all 3 antibodies when on warfarin, but they have a very specialist lab. Less specialist places may struggle with LA especially.
I was told once on Warfarin accurate testing can’t be carried out for all APS antibodies. X
I have been taking warfarin for 13 years and I was diagnosed with APS whilst taking warfarin. All my blood tests have been taken at St Thomas’s in London. I have never stopped my warfarin for any blood results. As GillyA mentioned a specialist lab would be preferable. I see your in the States so hopefully you can be referred to a suitable lab.Best wishes x
