Covid Vaccinations - St Thomas’ Hospital, London

Hello, I have a Covid vaccination tomorrow at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and am wondering whether I’m likely to be given Pfizer or AstraZenaca vaccine (...given the clotting fears surrounding AstraZenaca, I’m hoping it will be Pfizer).

Has anybody been to St Thomas’ for their vaccine, and if so, which vaccine did you receive?

Thank you very much in advance :)

I have a history of CSVT , but I had my AZ vaccine on Friday. If you look at the stats the risks of clots/CSVT are no higher than the normal population. The benefits of vaccine to you and those around you are huge. Everyone must make their own decision, but read the details not the headlines.

Thank you GillyA, I agree with you and have been researching and learning. Today is the day for it. All the best to you. Katariina

It was so quick and painless, much easier than a blood draw. And the atmosphere (local GP group) was happy almost joyful 😀
