I have had many changes to my finger nails, including ridges, beau lines and crumbling. but just lately I have this on my left hand pinky. Anyone got a clue as to what causes this?

No clue, sorry. I've got/had the lines, ridges and crumbles, gets worse when my iron and B12 are low, have read others getting this when thyroid is low too.Good youve taken pictures, worth running it past your GP or specialist?

I agree with the low Thyroid and low B12, this situation often occurs as the testing is not that great, so people do slip through the net or get told they have something else wrong like Fibro. MaryF

I have exactly the same thing often on multiple fingers. It's a form of chillblain. Mine don't hurt but are sore if knocked against a sharp edge. They go away eventually. No cure, just try & keep your hands warm.

I have this also. My rheumatologist just says it’s quite normal for the constellation of diseases I have snd isn’t really surprised or bothered.

It only bothers me when I have to “thunk” the air bubbles out of my heparin shots. It’s the only time it really hurts...

APS, Subacute cutaneous Lupus erythematous, Sjögren’s, POTS, Raynauds ( more of a side effect I would say)

“A touch of scleroderma,” ( my rheumatologist’s words) , Ehlers Danlos, CIDP, Poly Arthropathy, seizure disorder,

Oh, and Optic nerve Atrophy. ( a diagnosis - but a result of APS. )
