Have you seen a vascular surgeon, you will have tests to see if the blood flow to your leg is adequate so it can be treated, diabetics can also have problems with leg ulcers, I must admit on the list of worse conditions leg ulcers is one of the ones I dread

Hope you manage to see someone who can help the least they can do is give you a Doppler test

Hi John, I used to be an operator at a hyperbaric chamber for MS. We also treated people with leg ulcers with very positive results. You might want to look into getting a few "dives" if there is one local to you.

Hi, some of us have used the London Lupus Centre, privately either with health insurance or self funded, as I did for myself and the children, it really helped me, another thing is making sure your doctor/GP has actually got you one of our specialists, as the right specialist will not only help you, but also your GP practice, let me know if you need some for your area.

I do suggest as a first point that you send an email to your GP or their secretary explaining that you need more help, I know it is difficult but you do need some help. MaryF
