At about 14 minutes in, she addresses the question regarding risk with COVID and very honestly says she doesn’t know for sure. I found it helpful. The webinar is a Q&A and covers much more but I know we’ve all been curious for any news on risks. If someone else is better with posting actual links than I am?

Prof Hunt has done several webinars that are all recorded and available on Thrombis uk website.

I understand she is doing one this week on pregnancy and Covid.

Still awaiting information on Covid and APS though.

Me too! I was happy to hear a direct answer about known risks to us regarding complications even if it was just that she didn’t know for sure.

Her message to anyone already in anticoagulants for what ever reason is to continue taking if you get diagnosed with Covid.

Stay as mobile as you can and hydrated.

Contact your specialist for advice.

We’re you on the stream as well?

I didn’t have time to register as it was 8:00am / 8:30? And a friend in U.K. reminded me at the last second - she texted me as I was on fb messenger with her.

She did ask about Fondaparinux for me.

( sorry TwoH, that was meant for you.)

Hi Kelly! No, I wanted to but didn't get the chance. I looked for it today hoping she provided some clarity which I feel she did. They just don't know which is fine. I appreciated her saying that everyone should stay on their anticoagulants and ongoing recommendations to stay mobile and hydrated. She is a trusted source so I felt like if she could say definitively she would and if not, she wouldn't. It seems like the AI world and APS world are still slightly in the dark here but honestly, I think overall there is still so much to learn.
