Could b vein damage due dvt
Sadly other than wound care, once the veins and blood flow is damaged it can't be repaired.
Try and keep the blood flowing as best you can, small constant movements of the extremities, raising legs etc may help.
I'm presuming vascular guys are not helping?
Keeping infection at bay will help too.
Welcome by the way.
Hello, ( welcome )
Sorry to hear this, and yes it’s a known complication, unfortunately.
Make sure to keep it clean , I’m sure of course you do.
When this craziness passes and hospitals are safe, hyperbaric chamber therapy might be worth asking about.
Sorry to have to welcome you, but welcome! Sorry you are having this issue, Ditto above, move your foot when able with " chair," exercises and stretches. I will add that that my diagnosing hematologist stressed to me-way back in 2001 when I was diagnosed- to drink water. Staying hydrated is a poorly understood guard against clots. That hematologist told me to " drink by the clock! Don't trust your sense of thirst. That may not be accurate. Set a timetable for 8 glasses a day, then stick by that schedule and drink by the clock." I have followed that regime ever since. 2 upon waking, 1with breakfast, 1mid-morning, 1 at noon, 2in afternoon, 1 with dinner. More when its hot ( as yesterday when we went up to 83F.) Stay tough, and stay hydrated.
