Odd legs

I am fairly certain that I don’t have a DVT as no swelling, no cramp like pain, no other indications either but....

My left leg has a type of numb feeling and feels totally different to my normal right leg. When I walk it is very odd.

As I am now being investigated by neurology again as they found a white matter lesions in my brain stem it may be something else entirely but just wondered if any one had anything like this.

The neurologist also disagrees that my issues with my brain are cerebral APS as although consistently positive for lupus anticoagulant there are no positives for another test that is normally positive in cerebral APS.

Oh the fun and games ehh!!

I really hope they get to the bottom of it as soon as possible. I am putting this here in case it is of interest, regarding B12 deficiency: journals.plos.org/plosone/a... and this one: bcm.edu/neurology-apps/case... MaryF

Does you leg feel, “ floaty?”

( and do your arms ever feel slightly, “ floaty?”)

Do you feel like your foot is touching the floor at the wrong time- too soon as you step? Or too late? Like floor suddenly came up and met your foot too soon?

I know there are really strange questions...

Aloha...I had a large clot in my left thigh. I had no symptoms other than "tiredness".

When an ultrasound revealed this large clot, I was hospitalized immediately, out of fear that it would release "pieces" that could potentially travel to my lungs.

This was before I was diagnosed with APS and put on warfarin.

Hope you get a proper diagnosis, soon.

Kerstin

I wouldn’t like to put on here what I think about my local neurologist, I now see Dr Paul Holmes at Guys in London, he actually believes antiphospholipid syndrome exists
