Hello all. I just saw this on The Mighty web site it talks of brain fog and has a lady describing what it is like. I think she did a really greet job so hopefully here is the link:

themighty.com/video/what-br...

I am going to send it out to some relatives so they might get a better job understanding of what it’s like and perhaps be a bit more patient!

Hope it works for some of you as well.

I know, I need to learn to read over my texts before sending. The problem is, with me, I will always see what I intended to say I seldom can see the typos! LOL

Yes friends and family sometimes don't understand what we go thru. i always hear " you look so good " but i tell them i am rotting from the inside out - and i am an Impatient patient . I call the brain Fog -- BRAIN CRAMPS - I had a bought yesterday when at the Plastic surgeons office - i was talking to the scheduling nurse and she asked the names of my Hemo and also the surgeon that did my Core decompression on my left hip in 2012 ? and do you think i could remember their names - not on me life - then we continued talking about other info and and WELLA the names finally popped into my Brain cramped memory ,at least i remembered before i made the hour and a half trip back home. i need memory exercises - i have been reading up on them .IF i can remember where i put the article HMMMM

😊. Not only where u put it, but what book or magazine was it in? A silver lining, I’m always talking about finding silver linings in our everyday messed up little world. U can read books repeatedly with only remembering small parts thought it may be the third time I red it. I have started putting month an year on all books I have read so I can see last time I read them. Also, movies are good two three times every time I watch it I find something new that I missed in my earlier viewings and I only remember parts and scenes so I’m always good to rewatch anything!

Up side to everything!

I’m currently working my way through countless films I know I’ve watched at least twice before but can’t remember so much of each film!

About a week ago I searched through all my cupboards where I may have put a pump I bought (to put hand lotion in) and even unlikely spots. I had pretty much convinced myself that perhaps I hadn't bought it after all (because it was a while ago). I needed to turn on my spare fridge in the laundry to store some extra food and after checking the freezer part was working I found my frozen pump! No idea why it even got there!!

Yes-the video describes it very well indeed and because of the recent Epilepsy diagnosis I question myself even more. There are so many times I scare myself that I must be getting Dementia :(

Did you find my toothbrush in there? My sister once found my toothbrush... with toothpaste on it... in the freezer!

Why? We will never know. Her guess is I walked by and decided I wanted some ice cream. But why in the world was I out of the bathroom and walking through the kitchen with my toothbrush... with the toothpaste already squeezed on it?!?!

( I also loved your dangerous 🧶 knitting needles story! Lethal weapons!)

Perhaps only dangerous WHILE you’re knitting riding your motorbike!

Sounds like me. I’m forever putting things like the milk in the cabinet and cereal in the fridge & Different versions of that same thing. So when someone in the house finds something in the wrong spot they go to it correct spot to see what I may have put there! So if ur at my house and the shampoo is in the refrigerator then there is probably a bottle of ketchup in the shower!

The fun never ends!
