Professor Graham Hughes' Monthly Blog - July 2019
Thank you & Prof x
Third professional...... old school and hardcore 😀
Thank you Mary. I will repost to LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS)
Thanks Mary and prof Hughes for the July-blog!
Hope she is able to selftest even if she is triple-positive with high titres incl Lupus Anticoagulant (like me). That can be difficut but it can be done with the help of a Hematologist and a Coagulation clinic who understands APS and how INR behaves.
Yes, unless she’s spikey, like me. I also am triple positive with high titres, and have the big 3. I tried to get self testing to work but the readings were both high and low, so it could not be trusted, in my case.
Self testing is a gift, a nice thing in the land of not nice APS.
Thanks for posting the blog.
But it is sad that the third doctor said, ‘keep the warfarin, sell the horse’.
Good monthly report...and the case Dr. Hughes discussed sounded remarkably familiar to me!
Thanks!
