INR RANT

Hi Folks

I just need to have a moan!

My INR has always been up and down and have got used to that, but recently it’s behaving like a bad boy.

Had to stop for a couple of days as had a procedure done and was coming back up nicely.

Well, today 1.2, why oh why?!

I have heart/lung issues I know I’m not getting enough oxygen I’m wheezing like an old bus.

My heart is going far to fast, 130bpm and feel like it’s going to jump out of my chest.

I’m not anxious just mad, I can see myself ending up in hosp and I’m going on hols in a weeks time. I actually feel quite poorly.

Rant over, feel better now.

Oh bless you.havnt you been issued clexane in jections until your INR is in range ?

Yes I have those which is another irritation!

I think I’ve turned into a grumpy old woman. Thank goodness for my kitties keeps me grounded.

When I had a procedure I stated warfarin along with clexane injections til INR came back in range.did take over a week if I remember. If you feel unwell you really should contact your specialist or gp to check you out thou.

Carry on ranting - we don't mind. But please take the clexane as well, until you get INR in range.

If you feel real poorly and you know you cant ignore - then hospital it may have to be 😥

Hi, this all sounds temporarily tricky! I hope your Clexane injections are helping you through this, but do check in with your GP or the hospital or ring 111 if things are not right! MaryF

i suffer 8 out 9 things on list routhly as 1998 but have had all it all my life applantly age 78

An update

Managed to get on holiday taken it slightly easier than I would normally do, but did manage a husky ride in Helsinki!
