I have had extreme hair loss after my dental implant (full top & bottom) surgery October 2018.

Just making you aware that this is a dedicated forum for patients with Anti phospholipid Syndrome / Hughes Syndrome.

Have you been diagnosed with this, or are you currently being investigated for this, or have you accidentally stumbled upon this forum?

As far as hair loss, you might have your ferritin levels checked. ( < 30 for three months / checks at proper testing intervals in a row is the true best check- and it can be low without the anemia component flagging. )

Another disorder to rule out is your thyroid. Be sure to ask for the extended panel test.

Hi, did you mean to land on this forum? Do check in with your GP re hair loss, as it can be for a number of reasons. Low D, B12, and Iron plus Thyroid issues can all cause problems with your hair. If you do not have Hughes Syndrome/APS then this is not the right forum for you. Best wishes. MaryF
