I’m glad you’ve found a knowledgeable Dr - it’s half the battle with this condition!

Can you expound about the visit? I would like the name to add to my list, thanks

He spent over an hour going over my condition and discussing my background and gather in from when I was even a child. Also will advise my cardiologist and valve replacement dr as to what needs to be done for my valve replacement surgery so that I lessen the chances of a stroke. Such as only taking me off Coumadin once for the catherization and doing surgery right after. He understood my fears of throwing a blood clot and having another stroke. The instructions and report that goes to my drs will also be sent to me. (Thanks to your recommendation). His name is Alfred Lee

This is awesome, I know you were worried. You must be feeling so much calmer now. I am glad you were prepared what to ask and he satisfied your worries

Still going to wait as long as possible for surgery because he confirmed my fears that yes there’s a good chance of forming a blood clot when you are off your Coumadin so every consideration should be taken not to come off it as little as possible The new med I’m on for my COPD is helping greatly with my breathing

This is great, glad your breathing is better, what is he doing for your anticoagulation currently?

Nothing. My primary Dr. has monitored for 26 years and i's perfect. He will do the bridging procedure for the surgery.
