Infections and virus often make the INR change. Drugs and be in bed for a couple of days also may change the INR.

Hope you feel better soon!

Try not to worry. Warfarin works slowly but determinedly. My pharmacist told me everything affects warfarin INR I'm sure it's the virus or the medication if you've had any. Do you self test if so it may set your mind at rest to see your doctor.

Hope you feel better soon

Inr will change with illness as you eat less green vegetables, cold & cough liquid remedies contain alcohol and the virus itself affects the reading.

Call your clinic tomorrow and probably miss a dose tonight or eat lots of broccoli to get it lower. They will probably want a venous INR. Check your levels daily to keep an eye on it.

Mine goes up whenever I go on holiday still not sure if it is the flying or food changes on the day.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
