It's Bridging time....

Well it has been an eventful week!

Never thought I would want to be told I have another clot but of the 4 options presented to me yesterday it is the most pleasant!

Had some issues a few weeks back that receded soon enough to say docs next time .. Well that was the weekend and got to GP yesterday saw excellent lady doc not usual one who trotted me off to A & E with a letter for further checks half hour later in cubicle on monitor bloods taken within hour consultant on way

She has a poke and a prod and sends me off for a scan to see me later

2 very nice ladies in the Ultrasound unit gently scan and half way through she says she has seen something and needs a second opinion............ My life imploded there and then

Rest is a blur tbh trudge back and sit to await the news

Lady doc comes back in a while to say it is one of 4 things starting with the nicest nasty through to the maybe oooosh

A clot or a bleed are on the list and my inner eternal optimist has money on a clot.... My heart thinks the worst

Says I can go home they need to talk to st Thomas about warfarin and sort me a slot probably 2 weeks

Call me wife for a lift and break down

So... Point 1 THANK YOU thank you thank you everyone who says take all your info helped immensely as I had every docs details to hand

Point 2 THANK YOU thank you thank you everyone who has posted before about Bridging all seemed to make sense and was not at all daunting actually felt sorry for the doc having to have these conversations

So that's it apologies for spouting but needed to just........ Say... For my own sanity

I am absolutely crapping myself I won't lie but having read what others have been through for once APS is really not an issue..... I hope

Love to you all

Had a great day today with family, hope you all did the same.

So took my last Warfarin as instructed on Christmas Eve Eve, none last night or tonight, up to Hospital in morning for INR and Heparin Stabs for next week but boy can I feel it!

Pins and needles and the sharp stabbing pain in the joints of my hands, arthralgia haggling me like mad....

Drinking lots of fluids!

Scared........
