Thank you for caring about your sister and finding out more. None of my family has inquired about my APS and they all think because I don't look sick........I'm simply not sick. So thank you for showing her the love and support she will need!! -Mindi

That's really nice. My sister is also great support and my bestie always tells me I'm the healthiest looking sick person she knows!

Thank you Nanny for telling us this!

We all try to help eachother on this site. I have learned so much about APS during my years here and also my school-English has improved!

Once again; have you read "Sticky Blood Explained" by Kay Thackray? She writes about how it is to live with this illness. I wish people read that book as it is good for relatives also.

A Merry Christmas to You and to your sister Debbie from Kerstin in Stockholm!

Yes have read it in one night and gave it to Nanny 23! She only read Chapter 14 about Family Support , cuz I told her to! My Nephew Brian is a PA/ Physicans Assistant! He's very close to being a doctor! He can write scripts and now he shows the doctors how to putt implants in their patients hearts, such as pacemakers, defribulaters, ect...ect... Since I've been DX'd with APS he has had a complete turn around! He talks to me now about my health issues , whereas b4 he'd say they operated on me for no reason! Now a big change! Even though my current Hemotologist does not know how to treat MY APS, I'm forever in his debt for finally diagnosing me! I hope he agrees to still help me with my other rare sludgy blood disorder PV/polycythemia Vera! Thanks again KERSTIN and all the admins and everyone on this forum helping me and helping my sissyLynn/NANNY 23! Happy And Healthy New Year to Y'All!!! Godspeed!!!
