I used to take Ramipril and I had a cough with it, so I stopped taking it as it was ruining my choral singing.

What medications are you on for you APS/Hughes?

Dave

Hi,

I see Prof Kamashta, Prof Neilson -Peircy and Dr Chowdury at Guys respectively and my current medication is citalopram, aspirin, amolopodine, labetolol & ramipril. My heart surgery is to have mitral valve replacement as have a broad regurgitation.

Thanks for your feedback.

hi,

How did it go with the pain and very swollen wrists 3 months ago after your travel to Asia?

We have not heard anything more from you,

This heart operation does it have to do with APS? Hope you do not mind me asking but we learn from eachother.

Best wishes from Kerstin in Stockholm

Hello.

Yes, sorry for not updating, it eased off, was a nasty flare up.

I'm actually unsure whether or not it is related to my APS however i suspect so as I was referred to Prof Chambers in Cardiology after my diagnosis.

Thank you for responding, I am feeling very low and in terrible pain, it looks like a possible trapped nerve or torn muscle in my tailbone from the coughing.

Sorry about your terrible pain.

Hope you have an APS-doctor besides Prof Chambers who you can talk to and who understands your symptoms. I have Pulmonary hypertension and leaking heartvalves caused by APS.

I have had very high bloodpressure but are now on warfarin and my symptoms are "steady".

Good luck with your heart-surgery and hope you feel better very soon.!
