HI, I do hope things improve for you, but there can be other things making this worse, has your Thyroid been checked? as if this is out of range similar symptoms can occur in terms of brain fog, also best to keep an eye on vitamin D, iron and B12 MaryF
Hi.
Have you tried having a higher INR? Many people with APS/Hughes Syndrome find that they feel much better with an INR around 4.0. I did and if mine dropped below 3.3 I had similar symptoms to you and I used to give myself Heparin shots until I got my INR nearer to 4.0.

Have you been evaluated for a stroke?
I had a t.i.a 2 years ago - I steer clear from the doctors now I always feel like i am putting them out!
Hi Addz,
My thoughts is that you should be pushing the doctors. You are not putting them out; as you have APS and on warfarin.
Sorry to hear that you do not feel ok.
Before I was on a steady level of INR (I selftest now) I felt awful. As our Administrator Dave was saying above, we usually need an INR over 3.5 to feel normal again.
And sorry to say that is where an APS-Specialist is needed. So many, many GPs around the world have not knowledge about this illness. I have read posts like yours during the years from APS-sufferers that are not understood by their doctors at all.
I understand that you are tired of doctors. Try again please! I am sure you may be able to feel a lot better if you are enough anticoagulated and have a doctor to speak to that understands for once!.
So please do not give up. Read "Sticky Blood Explained" in pocket by Kay Thackray. She has this illness herself and can tell about all the different symptoms so we understand how it is to live with this illness.
