My husband has been getting mysterious black eyes for no reason.... He has had about 8 in the past 6 months and coming more frequently...

No injuries or head trauma.... they only last a couple of days... always on the top eye lid... He never notices them, I do... They are no discomfort to him... But I am starting to worry.. Thanks..

Hi there, may I suggest he takes a visit to the GP for a check up this way you will find out swiftly whether or not to take this further, if he has a haematologist they can be asked also. Also does he have a diagnosis of Hughes Syndrome/APS and is he on anticoagulants, however the advice above still stands. MaryF

I agree with my colleague Mary's advice.

I would also ask if he has a diagnosis of APS/Hughes Syndrome.
