Hello and welcome

I'm glad you are feeing relieved.

Just a couple of questions:

1. Have you been diagnosed with APS/Hughes Syndrome?

2. Where are you from?

Best wishes.

Dave

Yes I was diagnosed with APS 17 years ago after a late miscarriage but apart from treatment during my 2 other pregnancies I was left not knowing what I should do or take. But recently I have been feeling worse so I pestered my GP to refer me. I'm from surrey.

Hi there. Do not be afraid of the side effekts. You are now safer for clots. Try to get lab-test very often (especially in the beginning) and keep CONSTANTY of what you put in your mouth. Make notes!!

I started warfarin almost 3 years ago and am now selftesting. Learn as much as possible about warfarin. I like warfarin as it saved my Life.

I am so glad for you and I understand that you are happy and also worried.

Stay at this site and let us hear how it goes! Hope you have a doctor that really knows APS. THAT is very important

Best wishes from Kerstin in Stockholm

It is such a relief when we are finally diagnosed with a 'label' to what is going on with us......

I know I was, I know how you feel about the medication too as when I was 1st told to take warfarin I cried all night scared of the side effects? once I take them?....what ifs?...buts?....but in the end I made myself take them knowing that without them I stood a hell of a lot less chance :(

I hope you find the balance with it all soon enough....Sue x
