Asprin

I started asprin just before Xmas. My prothrombin time prior to asprin was 12.5. Despite the asprin my recent time is 11.5. Is this cause for concern? I would have thought that my time should have slowed down, not increased by a whole second!

LouBlou, Aspirin has no effect on Protime. The difference you describe is within the variability of the test, ie if you repeated the test in anyone you could/would expect the difference you describe from day to day. In most labs, those values are normal.
