Hi there and welcome, many ladies will come one under here soon and tell you their positive stories.. the main thing is your diagnosis and the treatment plan in place. Also many have suffered similar sad losses.so will be able to emphasize with what you have been through and your new plan for the future, Mary F x

Hi,

I got diagnosed with APS 21 years ago.

I started on Fragmin and 75mg Aspirin, all the way through my pregnancies. I had 2 miscarriages in between my 1st and 2nd son, but now have 4 lovely, healthy boys.

All the very best to you x

I had 4 miscarriages following the pre-term birth of my daughter. I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant, due to be induced this Thursday at 38 weeks! I took 75mg of aspirin throughout and started Fragmin at 4 weeks. My daughters pregnancy was unmedicated and full of complications, this pregnancy in comparison as been relatively uneventful.

There are many success stories out there. I had several miscarriages followed by a live bub with treatment of 100mg aspirin daily plus clexane shots from around 4 weeks... he just turned 10!. During the last 10 years I have had a pregnancy support group that has had hundreds of women who have had success after miscarriage whilst on the right treatment. Your chances are very much improved with coagulation .

Heres to an event free pregnancy and birth for you :-)

Yes I was diagnosed after my second pregnancy and started fragmin injections twice a day from 12 weeks through to 6 weeks post delivery. Baby was safely deivered by c-section at 37.5 weeks, happy and healthy. Good luck! :)

I had 2 boys followed by 3 miscarriages then diagnosed with APS & took Clexane throughout my (uncomplicated) pregnancy with my daughter who is now 10months old. Can't tolerate aspirin but double dose of Clexane as have Factor V Leiden as well. Hope all goes well for you next time, there are so many of us on here who know what you've gone through, but the chances are so much better with a treatment plan in place. Good luck! xx
