Hi there! I have had uterine clotting during pregnancies, (2 failed, 1 live w/complications) but no clotting problems outside of pregnancy and no thrombotic events.

I was diagnosed in December '02 (age 24) and have only take low dose aspirin. Other than that, they treat symptoms as they arise...anti-seizure meds for migraine, pain meds for arthritis, anti-depressants, etc. I did fine on aspirin therapy until 2008, and seem to have symptom chased since then.

I was recently told, even if my levels came back from the lab off the charts, they would not change my treatment since I've not had enough miscarriages and haven't had any life threatening clots.

I'm okay with that, but would prefer to stay a step ahead of the symptoms. Not sure if that's possible!

Hello Lipsnclips, I have found very interesting your treatment. I will discuss it with my doctor as an alternative.

I have no 'proven' clots but recovered from totally disabling illness on heparin . Doctors thought it was a placebo response. I went to Dr Khamashta who took into account symptoms recovery on anti coagulagion symptoms and very strong. family history of blood clots which includes two deaths from PE .I am now on heparin and plaquenil. I was diagnosed as sero-negative as all blood tests showed nothing. I was so relieved to get a diagnosis and a doctor who believed me. Ann

Yes, I have posted many times that I have never had a thrombosis, but had severe migraines, trouble thinking, autonomic disorder, etc. I take heparin, plavix and IVIG with major improvement.

Hi again,

Have you found a Specialist in Venezuela lately? You should perhaps have an anticoagulation drug for your APS.

Good to find those tiny ones on a Scan! Hope this Neurologist has heard about APS.

Also you have now answered a 6 year old question so not fure you get an answer.

If you have questions why not put a new question to us here!

Best wishes. How is your husband today after his stroke (was that correct?)
