Hi everyone. Has anyone had problems with haemostasis which have caused micro clots throughout the body, dangerously low levels of platelets and a very swollen spleen? If so what treatment plan were you offered, if any? Thanks in advance xxx

Problems with haemostasis?
Hi again Inspain hope you are keeping well
I too have a history of micro coagulopathy , these small clots unfortunately may be the cause of many of the day to day symptoms of APs such as tinnitus , dizziness , brief periods of numbness . At the minute they are just ruling out other causes still but I have been told by my consultant that if despite warfarin range of 3.5-4.5 I am still suffering then the best course of treatment for me will be immune suppression / chemotherapy . Will let you know more as and when I find out .
Hugs

Thanks Dan. I am experiencing the same too. I have had transfusions of plasma and platelets and am just starting the chemo. If you could keep me up to date I'd be really pleased.
