HS- lumps in my groin

I have been suffering with lumps in my groin area for a few years now, doctors first thought just boils or in growing hairs, I had my first lump removed at the hospital about 6 years ago which left scarring, after numerous antibiotics and flare ups every month. Over the years I had a few lumps removed one in my jaw line and one under my arm but never diagnosed with HS. More recently I had a rash with pimples on my hands and feet. I went to see a dermatologist who said I had PPP (Palma planter postular) She also referred me to a plastic reconstructive surgeon. Since then I have had a 3cm diameter area of scarred tissue removed with a procedure called flap surgery where they take new skin from another area from my bikini line/ groin and off work for 6 weeks for healing. I am afraid to say that I now have lumps appearing in my left side bikini line which have appeared. I was also diagnosed with H S. The lumps are worse near my period and have been starting to smell disgusting that it actually makes me feel sick. I feel really upset that after all my surgery I now have more lumps appearing. Although the area where I had surgery seems to be okay just left with a massive scar halfway down my bikini line and top of my leg. Does anyone have any advice or help or have the same problem and if any thing has helped. I wash with hibiscrub daily. I have stopped eating some food like peppers/ paprika/ some nightshade foods. I think it may be linked to an auto immune disease. If anyone has any advice I would be grateful for some. Thanks

Hi! I tried everything even the same diet. Over 45 surgeries lots of scarring in the same area. Try to ask for humira injections which will lessen the flare ups but ot requires funding. Stress also plays a major role in flare ups. Antibiotics won't do anything to be honest! Only humira will help. Major surgeries are necessary and you need to find a good surgeon that knows about HS not any surgeon otherwise you'll have endless surgeries. Also i noticed a big change when I stopped completely carbs that also include sugar! Good luck!
