Received oral sex only as a male. 3 months later freaked out and got tested for hiv, syphilis twice. I also got bacterial test for all bacterial sti gonnoreah, chlamydia, mycoplasma, herpes etc and negative.
Didn’t quite believe tests as I am anxious person and obsessed for months over this.
Then started to develop symptoms. Sore testicle, Burning, tingling skin these went away about 4 months later.
Started to feel burning when peeing. Got another Gonnoreah and chlamydia test negative again.
Started feeling itchy around my scrotum for a few months. This went away and is now back and I am starting to feel burning sensation again in skin all over body.
So scared I have an sti but tests have been negative?
Any advice? Please?

Hi Joe , it is nearly impossible to acquire HIV infection from receiving oral sex . Test says you do not have HIV , then you do not have HIV . Tests also say you do not have any other STI , so think you can rule those out too . What you do have , which you just mentioned , is anxiety . Anxiety is a psychological disorder that can severely affect a persons ability to cope with everyday life , you need to seek help for this .
Thanks for reply. I’m hoping that my test results were accurate.
I have also had muscular chest pain, got this a couple of years ago and eventually went away. it has been happening in the morning recently . I am not sure if it’s from the way I sleep but I feel really achy and sore across my chest.
I noticed you had mentioned in another post that you had chest pain. What was your pain like?
The aches and pains you have are just the normal ones of living . I have HIV , Hep. B , Asthma , Gout arthritis , 50% Kidney function , several injuries and old age and I'm not worried one bit -
Anxiety is a crippling state of mind and this is what you need to fix for a happy life !
There are many causes of balanitis , as I'm sure you are aware . Whilst STI's can be a cause it is quite difficult to pick up an STI from receiving oral sex only . When my knob has been a bit smelly under the foreskin I have used mouth wash to clean it - works a treat but can sting a bit ! It seems to me that your main problem is anxiety . Stress reduces the body's immune system's ability to cope with infections . Anxiety causes stress , and that to me seems your main problem .
Lots of things can cause muscle stiffness , but as you have had negative STI tests you know that it can not be an STI causing it . You need to stop fixating on STI's and sort out your anxiety for a happy healthy life .
