Hi everyone! Greetings from the Philippines. First, I would like to introduce myself. I am Adrian. 18 years old. Last year of August 02,2019, I had an encounter with a guy I'd just met on a dating app. We talked and sooner, We fucked. Two weeks later, I noticed some rashes at my back. And a few more symptoms like white tounge, tonsil stones, muscle and joint pain. After 16 days of possible exposure, I got tested and It came out non-reactive, They get a sample of blood from my forearm and they took for about 30minutes to examine the test (i don't really know what kind of hiv test it is) I was so happy cause I'd thought that It was it. But they told me that we need to do a follow up tests for confirmation. After a month, They conducted test again. This time it was a rapid test, and again it came out negative. And lastly, after 82 days I tested negative again. Now, I still have this symptoms, what bothers me the most is my rashes. What can it be if it wasn't HIV? And yes, I am planning to have a test again this August 02, 2020. For the last time.

Hi first relax every thing is fine with your case as you have tested negative three times.
And the thing is you must know what kind of tests you are going through.
Its a very good idea to get tested one more time.
All need to do is go for 4 gen elisa test which looks for both anti gen and anti body.
This time change the lab.
Don't worry you are 99.95 % safe and one more test will give you conclusive result.
If the result is negative you should work with your health care provider to find the reason which causing you all these symptoms.
Bcz there are so many stds which causes same symptoms as HIV.
Don't worry be confident everything is fine
Hi Adrian , generally an HIV test needs to be done 90 days post exposure , but your 82 day one being negative is a pretty certain indication that you do not have HIV . Therefor if you are having health problems there is some other factor causing them . The problem is viruses and infections all tend to cause similar symptoms , so it is impossible for anyone to give you a diagnosis on a forum like this . Possibly your best course of action is to have a complete STI test and then take it from there .
Hi there.
I am sure the clinic would have done it but did you have a test for syphilis? Rash looks similar. Glandular fever too, especially at your age- again you can be tested for this. But as previously mentioned discuss with your doctor and go from there.
Greg
Thanks for the response!
