Hi all! I hope you are all well, I have a little question for you. I had an unprotected report 2 months ago and for 1 week I have this kind of button in the upper back, shoulders and torso. Hi Axel , Rashes are common and can be caused by a whole variety of different reasons . There is no way of knowing what has caused yours by looking at a photo . If you think there is a chance you have been exposed to HIV you need to get tested to know for sure .

Thanks for replying Griffon,I have to wait another month to do the test. I am aware that there is no way to know other than the test. I just wish I knew if these buttons could be similar

All I can tell you is that I never had s rash at all when I became infected . It is much more likely that yours is caused by some other reason .

That would be great if you will come back with the result . Lots of people come here asking about HIV rash , it is one of the most commonly asked questions . Posting photos of rashes that are confirmed negative or positive would be a good help to others asking the same question .

Try not to worry , there are lots of things more likely to be causing this rash than HIV !

Could be an STI , all of which are much easier to catch than HIV .

Hello everyone, I come back to you, I'm negative. So I want to say and remind you that the only way to know is to do the test. I've had all the first symptoms except fever and yet I'm negative
