Hurts allot one of many off my symptoms. Tested negative at 9 weeks and at 84 days got 6 month test in a week. I am sure I have it my bottom teeth have also started to decay in between

Hi Mikey,

I have read through your previous posts and you state you tested negative at 3 months post exposure. This would mean that it is very unlikely that the 6 monthly test will differ and am confident you will be fine.

Keep working with your doctors as to what is really wrong with you

It was 84 days after exposure. I think it was a 2 or 3 generation antibody test. Was done in Spaij

you were neg at 9 weeks and 84 days. if the 6 months is neg then relax. I did the same thing when I came out. I had unprotected sex once and was sure that I had it. I took every cough, ache, sore throat, tired feeling to the extreme. I looked for the symptoms in everything. I tested every 6 months and despite the neg test I was sure it was wrong. The lady doing my testing told me to accept the neg and stop obsessing over having HIV. Don't borrow trouble please. Trust your doctors to find what is wrong and trust the tests no matter the results.

When is testing conclusive then?

A full blood test normally gives reliable results one month after infection, the "window" period of 3 months post exposure is considered conclusive, i.e. a negative result is just that, negative!

Thanks had a negative test 84 days after exposure.

My point is stop for symptoms in everything. If you are positive then you are but don't look for it. Focus with you physician as to what is causing your issues.
