High heart rate after ablation

Hi, I had my atrial flutter ablation done last Wednesday. It was a great success. My resting heart rate was about 90 bpm after ablation. However, I realise that my resting heart rate increases. Today, I measure 115 bpm while I am sitting. I am so worried.

Anyone experience similar condition as me?

Hi there! I wish someone had told me that this is completely normal when I had mine done a few years ago. If you think of any other place where you get a burn on your body, it does tend to swell up before it heals and it takes about 3 months for the heart to heal completely after ablation. High heart rate and anxiety are completely normal post-op, and I definitely recommend CBD and magnesium as supplements to help steady the heart rate and rhythm. The recovery period is difficult, but it does get better!
